Month 1 (FEBUARY )

#HOPEAFTERAMAZON

As the number of animal lovers is increasing, the concern for endangered species is also on the rise. So, already existing websites like GLOBAL WILDLIFE PRESERVATION etc. can talk about the diverse wildlife in Western cape and encourage people to have a look at some of the rarest species of animals and flowers for themselves.

Month 2 (MARCH)

“WORRY NO MORE”

Worried about safety? Worry no more because you’ll have SAPS on your wrist. . SAPS has come up with a stylish wrist band with just one button on the wrist. The travelers are required to press the button and keep it pressed for as long as they feel unsafe. They’re required to take shelter and stay there until the police comes to them in just 2 minutes. SAPS is present almost everywhere in a radar of 500 metres because of the growing rate of crime. campaign has also come up with strategies against robbery. The travelers are required to put stickers on all their belongings from camera’s to phones and purses. Now these small stickers have chips inside them. So every time and incident of robbery takes place, SAPS can come to the rescue.

Month 3 (APRIL)

1. ‘THE ‘VINE’ CONTEST”

It Is a well known fact that Liberia is famous for its Palm wine and vineyards. People from all around the world come to have a look at the amazing collection of wine that this place has. So people have to post a 6 second video of tasting a Liberian Wine bottle in the wine festivals of Liberia. The people can be as creative as they want and the person with the most likes would get a free cruise from Liberia.

 2. The Rare species of animals and plants form a very important part of the Liberian heritage. So, the campaign aims at coming up with a strategy called “ BLOOD DIAMOND HUNT”. This strategy targets both the children and adults who love wildlife. The children are supposed to partake in the quiz by identifying a camouflaged image of an endangered flower or an animal in the newspaper ads, magazine ads and television ads that the campaign aims at printing. After finding atleast 20 such images the people are required to send these images to the official fb page. The 1st 10 winners would be promised assured gift prizes.

Month 4 (MAY)

“SEE FOR YOURSELF AND SITE JOGGING”

The tourism industries shouldn’t focus on traditional offerings – sights, food, drink, accommodation and services. Today’s tourists are looking for experiences. Your messages should promote your community as a destination of choice for experiences that the local tourism industry can deliver in ways that are competitively distinct. The localities of Liberia can be asked to act as tour guides for the people. In this way the people can actually witness the culture, tradition and beauty of the place for themselves. The genuinity of the tour guides would be more and the possibility of getting scammed by people would be less. These tour guides would be verified by SAPS before being allowed to guide travelers.

Site jogging: This is a new tourism trend for lifestyle-oriented people who like to jog around to various sites instead of riding in vehicles.

Month 5 (JUNE)

“The ‘Much Needed” Getaways”

Here a large number of students, office workers and teenagers come for Reunions, celebrations and good old-fashioned spaces, that can encompass everything from spas and tranquil cottages to sports and adventure pursuits. The campaign aims at Highlighting the various locations where famous actors and actresses have gone to for an escape from the monotonous routine of life. The various party places for clubbing, dancing and having a gala time are promoted through the official video. Night Life Attractions

Lights, Camera, Action” challenge

Various places like Cape town are soon going to become the biggest hub of movie shooting locations in the world. Liberia has similar landscapes that could attract a lot of cinematographers. Because of being inexpensive and having beautiful locations, directors and producer’s would wish to produce there. They come to Liberia for the infrastructure and the world-class crews. The city center was used to film groundbreaking stunts and visual effects sequences where the superheroes ‘threw’ vehicles into buildings. Liberia is flanked by beautiful peaks including the famous Table Mountain. It offers tropical- looking beaches, skyscrapers, rugged rocky coastlines, rolling wheat fields, forests, mountains, lakes, sand dunes, plains, agriculture etc

Tv advertisements

Simultaneously the tourism campaign can tie up with TV channels “ Animal Planet” and :”Discovery” to enhance the knowledge of people about the hidden treasures in Africa. This strategy in particular also aims at targeting foodies to travel to Liberia for culinary tourism. Channel’s like “Fox Life” etc can showcase the mouthwatering delicacies in Liberia that would attract more audience.

Month 6 ( 18TH JULY)

 “Nelson’s Cage”

The next strategy that this campaign has come up with is the “Nelson’s Cage” challenge. This strategy has particularly been made for the history lovers who wish to explore every bit of a place. Now since 18 July shall fall in between the campaign date, the tourism company plans on getting aggressive with its marketing strategy. They wish to make full use of this date. Now 18th July is Nelson Mandela International Day. On this day the campaign comes up with a challenge for the people to redesign Mandela’s cage. The people are required to post their designs on the official SA, tourism page.

“Football scouting

George Weah played football for teams like PSG, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City. It is also known that most of the football scouting teams come to Africa for talent acquisition. So here we would focus on hosting a platform for all countries in Africa on one particular day and would invite all football leagues for selection.
